1. Robert ORSBORN Born, in 1758 in Woolpit, Suffolk, England. He died in 1815 in Woolpit, Suffolk, England. He was a Cordwainer in Orford, Suffolk, England. A map showing Woolpit. was born in 1758 in Woolpit ,Suffolk, England. It would appear that he had his own business because his will mentions stock in trade and book debits.He was clearly successful as he also owned several properties.Yet he could not write. It may have been Robert`s thick Suffolk accent that caused the clerk to spell his name with an R ,instead of an S.
We see that by the time probate was complete his dauther Charlotte`s name on the document was spelt Osborn.

He was married to Sarah FISHER in 1772 in Woolpit, Suffolk, England. Sarah FISHER died on 10 Jun 1793. Robert ORSBORN and Sarah FISHER had the following children:
