The Big Lebowski

The Big Lebowski is a film cult classic written, produced and directed by the Coen Brothers in 1998.

In cult classic tradition it has spawned a whole range of stuff including The Lebowski Fest, Dudeism (The church of the latter-day Dude), and maps of filming locations...

If you know it and like it, then my recommendations of 'like' (if there is such a thing) Coen Bros films includes Fargo (1996), O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) and Ladykillers (2004).

Other worthwhile Coen Bros watches are Blood Simple (1985), Raising Arizona (1987), Miller's Crossing (1990), The Hudsucker Proxy (1994), The Man Who Wasn't There (2001), and Intolerable Cruelty (2003) - all quite different and enjoyable entertainment.
